CHAPTER THIRTEEN
STAR CHILDREN REVISITED
There are around the world a growing number of children who possess abnormal abilities, and who claim to have been visited or abducted by aliens. These children have been termed the Star Children. The phenomenon has been going on for a long while and there are in fact many adults who fit into this category, but in recent years, probably as a result of an intensification of interest by researchers, there has developed an extensive literature on the subject.
Dr Richard Boylan of the Academy of Clinical Close Encounters in Sacramento, California, is one of the principal authorities on the subject, and as the name of his academy implies, it is generally accepted by these researchers that these Star Children really have been tampered with by extraterrestrials.
The Star People, both children and adults, display a number of shared characteristics, both physical and mental. In Boylan’s categorization, “A Star Seed is an adult; a Star Kid is a child. A Star Seed/Star Kid may be defined as an adult/child with both human and extraterrestrial origin
. The extraterrestrial contribution may come from reproductive material, from genetic engineering, from biomedical technology, and from telepathic consciousness linking, as well as from directed incarnation of a Star Visitor into a human body.”(1) In other words some of these Star People think they have been visited by aliens, and others actually believe they are aliens. They can have a striking appearance, and seem more knowing or mature for their years. They can also display biophysical abnormalities such as increased cranial size, lower body temperature and immunities to common childhood diseases, including colds and flu. From a mental point of view the Star People generally tend to be more attuned to spiritual and psychological concerns. They can display paranormal abilities such as telekinesis (ability to move objects with the mind), teleportation (moving one's body in space), Out-of-Body Experiences (OBEs), clairvoyance, dowsing and spiritual healing. They seem to display a shared consciousness not only with other Star People, but also with the general run of humanity. They can also tend to be more dynamic and motivated towards selfless goals. According to Dr Boylan, “They most often are imbued with missionary zeal to make people wake up to their highest and best potential. These Star Kids also want to change
the world for the better, be it working for peace, spreading compassion and kind deeds, working to heal the Earth's pollution injuries, or telling people about a larger family we have out among the stars.”(1)Dr Boylan gives his own historical summary of what has happened to cause the Star Children phenomenon. “Approximately 350,000 years ago, Star Visitors genetically engineered primates in order to create Homo sapiens, a species which is not related to Neanderthal man or to any of the more primitive species that have been dug up. So we are a hybrid race. And the large braincase and high intelligence is due to cross-splicing of a higher order of extraterrestrial genetic material…There is a missing link because there is an absolute discontinuity between primitive species and Homo sapiens. Traditional archeologists keep trying to find a fairly upright individual who is a little more advanced than Neanderthal man but not quite as advanced as Homo sapiens, but they cannot find this missing link because there is none. There was no evolutionary curve. Instead, around 350,000 years ago, there was a sudden emergence in Africa of a whole race of Homo sapiens. And that is where the footprints stop. There is no preceding species to connect us… But as we all know - and what has become all too obvious to the Star Visitors - after more than three hundred millennia of having a go with these brains, and even though we've done some impressive creations of civilization, we still retain rather unfortunate tendencies toward jealousy, competitiveness, and resolving matters by grabbing a club and beating the other person over the head. In that way, we're not much better than our primitive ancestors and other predators in the Serengeti… The kids being born in the last eight to ten years are way ahead of the average human, and even way ahead of the average experiencer. They have striking abilities, and their average developmental curve in many cases is rapid: they are lifting their heads up, talking, walking, reading, and writing a year or two earlier, or more, than their age-mates. They demonstrate telepathy at a very young age, and in some cases, they are influencing their environment mentally, along with showing other abilities that normal humans don't have.”(1)
When asked how these Star Kids come to be born this way, Dr Boylan says: “After compiling all the information from many experiencers, it seems that reproductive material - sperm or ovum - is borrowed from humans, altered by the Star Visitors, and then put back. The inference is that they've done a further upgrade in human genetics so that the kids born later to these parents are way advanced. Let's say hypothetically that if the evolutionary scale of Homo sapiens is rated at 1.0, these kids are at 7.0. Upgrading the human condition in this manner appears to be one of the ways in which Star Visitors are helping to create a more advanced version of humanity that will have the virtues and strengths that tend to be absent in the average human at this time. As marriage, interbreeding - even blood donations - carry forth advanced DNA and ripple out into the general human genome for the next few generations, eventually all of humankind will be functioning at a more advanced level.”(1)
So the genetic pool has been upgraded in recent times and this has been achieved by the aliens splicing human genes into an extra-terrestrial genome and then allowing the embryo to grow ‘in a test tube-like environment.’ “The test-tube children tend to look much more extraterrestrial than human. They would never pass for human in the way Star Kids do. They have more of the extraterrestrial attributes, but enough of the human qualities to restore some of the emotional range and heart consciousness that some star civilizations lost when they manipulated their own genetic evolution. In the case of extraterrestrial children developed in vitro, those kids are often raised off world or onboard the large ships that are semi-permanent homes for various colonies. Many experiencers have been taken aboard such ships to interact with one or more of these children, and in many cases they are given the telepathic message that this is their own child. These experiencers treasure the short time they have onboard to nurture and love them.”(1)
Star Children can be challenging for their human parents. Dr Boylan states: “My grandson is a case in point. He is going to a school in central California that specializes only in gifted children. Even there, he is bored. Star Kids - and this also holds true for highly intelligent humans in general - are restless because they are processing information so fast that the pace most humans plod along at is painfully slow for them. They just get bored, restless, fidgety, agitated, and want to move on quickly to other things. Unfortunately, they often get slapped with labels like Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyperactivity. That really isn't fair, because they are not loaded with neurological anomalies, as are true ADHD kids. In truth, they're just a square peg in a round hole, and they often have a rough time of it. Also, that sense of being different makes it tough. Kids always want to blend in with other kids and be accepted. However, because of the way they think and behave and the different way they see things, they get labeled by the other kids, and this can make it harder for them to make friends. You can imagine that when Star Kids reach puberty and adolescence, unless they have help, it can be an extremely challenging time for them. Without this help, they can become isolated and feel like misfits in society, even though they are extraordinarily gifted.”(1)
Notwithstanding the fact that these Star People
have psychological and social problems of their own that many people working in
the Star Kids project have set about to solve, Dr Boylan remains convinced that
these Star People are here to actually solve the problems of the world, and to
bring mankind to a new era of enlightenment. “Star Kids are really remarkable
young people. And as our society becomes more and more populated with them, it's
going to be a wonderful place to live. Many of the problems that have plagued
our societies in the past will melt away as this new crop of children grows up
to achieve positions of influence and become the new leaders in our world. They
are the future. If I can help as many as possible get properly launched, it will
greatly benefit the societies that they're going to help shape as they come of
age. Many of these special kids are now only a couple of years away from adult
lives and careers that will include positions of great responsibility and
increasing influence. Even some of the adult Star Seeds that I have worked with
are moving into positions of leadership and initiative. The work that I'm doing
is about building a better future with the kind of people who are going to be
making a lot of that future come about.”
When asked what was his vision for the future, Dr Boylan tells us: “Star Visitors have said that this evolutionary stage of humanity is much like that of a gangly, awkward adolescent. We're leaving childhood behind, but we haven't arrived at full adulthood yet. I'm convinced that these Star Kids are here to help with this transformational process and move us all forward faster. So I operate from a sense of severe time urgency. And practically every Star Kid and Star Seed I work with, to a greater or lesser degree, operates in the same manner. Personally, I am persuaded by the Native American and other indigenous people's oral traditions which say that all their prophecies have come true regarding the signs that have appeared right before there is a mass return of the Star Nations. The Mayan Calendar states that by the end of the year 2012, the old ways will have ended and a whole new culture and society will have clearly emerged. We are now peaking as a materialistic civilization and presently immersed in what Native Americans call the Fourth World. By 2012, the Fifth World will be coming in. So we don't have that much more time before the Fourth World will be rapidly fazing out and the Fifth World will be obviously manifesting. But there also will be a lot of blood, sweat, and tears before that happens. Prophecy states that there will likely be upheavals in the very near future, beginning as early as May. It will be a time of great shaking up - literally and figuratively - in and of society and our culture. It will be a time of great testing - but also a time of great opportunity.”(1)
One such Star Kid tells her own story in an article in Take 5 Magazine. Tracey Taylor is her name. When she was just five years old she began receiving visitations during the night. She would tell her mother in the morning that Santa Claus had visited her. At that age she said she knew nothing about ETs and assumed it was just Santa Claus who had come to visit her. Later she realized it was not Santa Claus at all, but in fact it was aliens who had come to visit her. She says: “The ETs visited most weeks, arriving in my bedroom in Geraldton, WA, in a blaze of light. I’d feel my body become heavy and lie paralyzed in bed as they lifted me upwards, passing through walls and into the sky. The beings ‘spoke’ to me telepathically. I’d wake up on a strange craft where the beings pointed their long, lean fingers at drawings of ancient-looking symbols. It felt completely natural and I wasn’t scared.”(2)
At the same time she started to show artistic talent. While still at school she was winning junior art contests. She started out doing paintings of local wildlife, flowers and scenery. She says: “My artistic talents grew with my ET encounters. I’d be shown intricate symbols, scientific texts and maths equations, which I recreated in my art. But by the time I was nine, the Father Christmases’ visits had stopped. Now, new visitors came in their place. Some were transparent beings filled with light, some were bald, brown, wrinkled creatures. But my most regular visitors were small with enormous almond-shaped eyes and grey leathery skins.”
Tracey relates an experience when she was 15 years of age. “I woke on a medical table. A being approached and poked my arm with a long instrument that put me to sleep. I woke the next day to find a triangular shape on my arm and small symbols on my shin. Over the coming days they faded. Three weeks later I woke with similar markings - three geometric circles on my upper arm. I knew better than to show them to my family. ‘They represent star constellations and their link to the earth, which I learnt on one of my ET visits,’ I’d told my high-school friends when they asked me about the drawings. ‘You sound nuts,’ they laughed, telling me I was weird.”
When she was about 17 years of age she showed an ET researcher some of her drawings, and he was astounded that a teenage girl could be creating such art that seemed to incorporate cutting-edge quantum physics. Tracey says that she felt she was being downloaded with this new knowledge during the night while she sleeps.

Examples of some of Tracey Taylor's art. When she was a young woman of 20 years of age she was working as a catwalk model in Tokyo, Japan. She was living in a hotel and during the night she would get the urge to draw - an urge that she could not control. “It was as if my hand had a life of its own.” She was getting very little sleep. When she arrived back home in Australia she was diagnosed by her GP as having chronic fatigue syndrome, however she herself felt that she had a psychological problem. “I was convinced that the cause of my exhaustion was in my head. So I saw a shrink.” The psychiatrist she consulted prescribed anti-depressants.
Sometime after this she saw a book about ET encounters by a local author. She met the author of this book who referred her on to Mary Rodwell of the Australian UFO Research Network. From that time onwards she has been undergoing counseling by Mary Rodwell and others in the UFO Research network. ‘You’re not mad and you’re not alone” Mary said at our first session. “’Encounters with aliens have happened for many generations.’ She showed me books of aliens and craft I’d been familiar with since childhood. They were in everything from aboriginal art to the pyramids. ‘So I’m not the only one,’ I said in amazement. ‘No, others in my group have drawn the same things as you,’ said Mary, who later made a documentary about my experiences. At Mary’s meetings I felt safe.”
In an article Counseling the Abductee, Mary Rodwell outlines her therapeutic approach. She explains that it is very difficult for conventional psychology to explain a wide variety of paranormal phenomena such as Out-of-Body Experiences (OBEs), levitation, mental telepathy, etc. She quoted statistics that possibly 5% of the American population may have had some sort of encounter with ETs. Mary states that she basically follows the ‘person-centred counselling’ techniques. “These are congruence, empathy and unconditional regard. For the therapist to be open, to listen and honour the individuals
experiences in a non-judgmental way and to give them the opportunity to discuss how this has affected them physically emotionally and psychologically, how it has impacted on them, their family and their perspectives on reality is vital if the therapist is to assist in integration and healing. Often the individual cannot share their experience, even with close family, partner or friends for fear of derision, avoidance, fear or confusion. The option of professional therapy may seem threatening if there is a chance they may be perceived as mentally ill and possibly hospitalized and medicated. Conventional religions may interpret their experiences as some kind of possession, evil hallucination or even devil-inspired. Thus isolation and confusion are two of the main difficulties for clients. Support groups can be extremely valuable for providing safe caring and support, with a confidential environment to share with others their similar experiences. The acceptance and validation from those who understand is tremendously healing, and strategies for dealing with the fear and lack of control can be useful for reducing stress or panic attacks.” (3)Fosar & Bludorf, in their book Vernetzte Intelligenz, point out that more and more our technological achievements are taking us into the realm of virtual reality. In the modern age there came cinema, and then television, and now very sophisticated virtual reality with 3D software for computer games and the internet. They cite the culture historian Christina von Braun from Humboldt University in Berlin, who maintains that in every epoch of human history the outstanding technical achievements are always related to the inner consciousness of the people. So in our times the push for an unimpeded information network and for alternative realities correlates with the discovery of the global hypercommunication network at the level of the DNA. This need for networking and virtual reality has developed in our lives precisely because we human beings have always had these innate capacities within ourselves, and now more and more we are learning to make full use of them. Our technical achievements are merely temporary crutches for abilities that are actually developing unconsciously.
Virtual reality is nothing new. It has accompanied mankind in one form or another throughout recorded history. This technology was always going to develop in the way that it has. For several thousand years already mankind has been generating artificial worlds, only for the most part during these earlier periods these make believe worlds have been exclusively a creature of our own minds.
Fosar & Bludorf also cite the findings of American psychologist, Julian Jaynes, that mankind really developed ego orientated rational thought about 1000BC. According to his research, people in cultures earlier than that lived under the influence of a strange communication process whereby their understanding of the phenomenal world was dependent upon the existence of gods. These gods were for primitive man conceived as actually existing in our world, and one was able to speak with them by means of an inner dialogue. This in all likelihood is the way that hypercommunication consolidated itself into a deeper group consciousness. In this way mankind was able to develop despite their shortcomings a conscious individual ego structure that was intelligently coordinated, where their dialogue making process really was not attributed to themselves but was directed through an inner communication with superior beings, that they termed gods.
This is not to be taken merely as primitive fantasies, nor as some sort of hypothetical communication. It really seemed to be an awareness of and a search for extraterrestrials, even in those very early times. Jaynes researched many early sources, including the works of Homer, and came to the conclusion that the people of those times were actually hearing inner voices from the gods. That is to say, there was communication with superior beings.
Explanations of these theories of Jaynes can be found in modern neurophysiology. In primitive man the right hemisphere of the brain was more active, and it seems that this is also the case these days. The right hemisphere of the brain is said to be responsible for pictorial or figurative perception and for artistic creativity. We have to be careful when we make value judgements about these ‘primitive fantasies’ of early humans. They actually perceived these subjective inner worlds as real. Fosar & Bludorf list several instances where we technology savvy people of the modern area have actually let ourselves be deceived by virtual reality that we have taken it to be real.
Again, according to Fosar & Bludorf, the contacts with the gods did not have a religious meaning for the people of earlier times. They did not really see themselves as having free will, and when it came to making day to day decisions they tended to rely on their inner voices that would give them indications as to what they should do - steer them in the right direction so to speak. Notwithstanding this evasion of responsibility for their conscious actions they came by these means to astounding scientific knowledge, and were able to construct an ordered society and economy. The communication with the gods served the same purpose for the people of earlier times as our modern technical virtual realities, namely it facilitated study and scholarly achievement.
The first approaches to the gods by the people of those times can be partly understood in terms of modern conceptions. The fictitious superior beings, the aliens, of today often are depicted with oversized, deep black eyes. See Figure 2. These eyes had a consciousness warping effect on the people, and Fosar & Bludorf have found that they can often lead to such a deeply altered state of consciousness that hypercommunication becomes possible. Looking at it with current understanding, we can say that the people of those times were heavily influenced by a collective group consciousness by means of which they were able to develop extraordinary knowledge and abilities. If we regard our forebears as merely a collection of individual persons their advanced knowledge and abilities would no longer be explicable. It is the same with the extraordinary abilities of certain animals and insects, such as termites, ants, bees and dolphins, that we can only really effectively explain on the basis that there is a group consciousness at work - a sort of collective mind.

Figure 2.
The Sumerian god Abu portrayed with oversized hypnotic eyes like so many of the god figures of ancient times.Hypercommunication can be the only explanation. At the cellular level the consciousness of all people must be connected, that is to say, our genes, our primary substance, must be networked. This can often be demonstrated in the workings of groups of all kinds. The experience, innate knowledge and abilities of individual members of a group can be put at the disposal of the group as a whole through the operation of a group consciousness approach. This observation highlights the great impediment, and can also serve as an explanation, why hypercommunication has remained hidden from us for so long. Precisely about 1000BC, according to Julian Jaynes, our aptitude for hypercommunication was lost. Modern research methods have revealed that it is the left hemisphere of the brain that is activated when it comes to generating and recognizing our speech patterns. This left hemisphere of the brain is also said to be responsible our capacity for logical thinking. The corresponding part of the right hemisphere of the brain remains inactive when spoken communication is taking place.
Fosar & Bludorf state that if Christina von Braun is correct in what she says, then the modern push for information networking is an indication that we are again beginning to make use of the right hemisphere of our brain, albeit in a new contemporary form. Modern hypercommunication is not the one-way street that it has been in the past, but has grown analogous to the development of the world wide web. Everyone can take knowledge out of the information pool, and everyone can contribute to the information pool. With the emergence of the world wide web we see at work a vast group mentality. So we certainly have not completely lost our inner ability for hypercommunication. It has merely been hibernating during the ensuing millennia, during which we developed our individual selfconsciousness. Now again the group mentality is starting to re-emerge. The workings of this hypercommunication is at an unconscious level and we are of course not aware of it. Our genes are constantly expending their communication channels. This is evidenced by the Phantom DNA Effect that clearly demonstrates the ability of our genes to operate via a non-material medium. This process is simply not conscious to us at all - it is literally extra-sensory.
In our nightly dreams we experience virtual worlds that seem to be quite realistic, but which we know to be virtual. Our dream imagery is generally believed to originate in the right hemisphere of our brain. Fosar & Bludorf point out that we can nevertheless have the impression that we are in verbal communication with other persons in our dreams. Thereby we regularly resort to a deeper level of consciousness, that the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung termed the collective unconscious. Here lies the other half of our individual personality. Based on a great number of dreams related to him by his patients, Jung was able to prove that some of the typical dream images are common to all cultures. They are not simply based on the fantasies of individuals, but are derived from a cultural heritage common to all mankind.
These dream images, that Jung termed ‘archetypes’, go back to our most primitive origins. In them can be found the gods, angels and devil figures of our religions, as well as representations of all kinds from a wider mythology. Later psychological research has shown that these dream figures are indeed innate in all of us. For example, children have been know to dream up these archetypal figures before they are able to read or through other means, gain knowledge of legends, fairy tales, or religious myths. Access to these archetypes has to be through our creative substance, the DNA. That doesn’t necessarily mean that these images are really coded in our dreams, but does indicate that the DNA is receptive for collective information processing that can then emerge in our consciousness.
The fact that archetypal images appear in our dreams is a sure indication that the dreamer has access to a transpersonal stage of consciousness, which the Czech-American psychologist Stanislav Grof describes. At such a time, according to Fosar & Bludorf, dreamers are actually engaged in a form of group consciousness which must be at the cellular level, in our DNA, as demonstrated by the research on the dreams of very young children. The hypercommunication seems to be genetically programmed to switch itself on. The primitive dream figures are really only in the nature of decoration, they have only a symbolic meaning, and are an indication to us of the archetypal, transpersonal character of our dreams. Rather than merely interpreting these figures, it is much more important to ask the question: Do we really have the possibility from our transpersonal dream consciousness to gain knowledge that is simply not available through rational conscious introspection in our waking state? According to Julian Jaynes this was actually the case 3000 years ago. A glance at our modern cultural and scientific development, proves that this ability has not fundamentally changed. Only in modern times such effects seem to surface only sporadically in individual cases.
Fosar & Bludorf cite several instances in literature, science and the arts where great works have come about as a result of inspiration derived from dreams. René Descartes was inspired by an angel that appeared in a dream while he was a young man serving as a soldier in the Netherlands. The composer Giuseppe Tartini dreamt that a devil was sitting on his bed playing the violin. The next day he wrote down the tune known as the Devil’s Trill Sonata. The physicist Niels Bohr, and the inventors Thomas Edison and Nikola Telsa, received inspiration from their dreams. The claims by the star children that they have been visited by aliens that have given them an extraordinary talent would appear to be in a similar vein. It will be recalled that this is the explanation given by Tracey Taylor for her artistic talent, but there is no reason why it could not simply have come form her dreams.
Certainly the discoveries of many famous scientists have not come from their dreams. They have undertaken methodical research and have gained knowledge in a logical and disciplined fashion. Still in these cases often the crucial stimulus for a new discovery has come from the depths of a group consciousness or as a result of subconscious hypercommunication. There are many instance where famous scientists have freely admitted that they came across the discovery quite by chance or accident.
Eveidently we have to abandon any attempt to maintain a strict separation of ‘objective reality’ and ‘virtual reality’, according to Fosar & Bludorf. Throughout all the ages mankind has postulated a virtual reality and this has been superimposed over our objective reality, which in any event is never static. We must not forget that every cultural or scientific advance has to originate in the mind of man as a thought or idea. These ideas, thoughts and dreams have step by step changed our reality.
A scientific examination of the mechanics of artistic creativity or scientific inspiration is very difficult. Groundbreaking archetypal dreams simply can not appear on command, nor can inspiration coming from the depths of the collective unconscious be repeated in the laboratory. And yet the modern scientific method presents itself as being able to rationally explain important advances in knowledge as being intentioned advances in an objective process. Nothing could be further from the case.
In any event, Fosar & Bludorf point out, these archetypal dreams do not just inspire the great thinkers to come up with important new discoveries. Ordinary people can have such dreams as well, and often they can have access to information that they can’t understand, and don’t even know what to do with. Fosar & Bludorf cite a case that they came across in their hypnotherapy practice. A 42 year old male nurse who night after night would have the same intense dream. He always saw two dream figures who took him by the hand and sat him down on a stool. Then they would communicate to him a vast amount of knowledge about technology, politics, history, culture etc etc. It was as if night after night a CD ROM was playing in his dream and he was downloading the complete Brockhaus Encyclopedia. Much of this information he could no longer remember in the morning, however certain details could remain in his consciousness, and he was able to note them down. The information that he recorded was fundamentally meaningful and rational, although as a rule the patient himself could not understand it. Most of the facts that came conscious to him in his dreams actually lay outside his own personal range of knowledge. Tracey Taylor likewise relates this experience of being downloaded with new knowledge. There is no reason why it has to come from creatures from outer space.
Then there is the work of the Canadian neurologist, Dr Michael Persinger, who experimented on the effects that certain electromagnetic waves (the so-called ELF waves that lie in the range between 1 and 10 Hertz) have on the brain. These waves are also known these days as Schumann waves which can have an effect not only on the brain but on the physical body of humans. Dr Persinger constructed a helmet that allowed him to beam these waves into the head of his patients. He was also able to modulate these waves with precise frequency patterns that were capable of bringing about changes in the state of consciousness. This stimulus was directed at precise regions of the brain, Hippocampus, Ammonshorn and Amygdala. These areas are known to play a role in memory and emotions and possibly also are concerned with aspects of free will. Stimulation of these areas can often induce very strong emotionally charged mental images.
Dr Persinger was surprised by the results of his tests. His patients, as a result of the stimulus, had pronounced inner experiences, that were so strong that they could be labeled archetypal impressions. These patients saw strange grey figures with large black eyes - very similar to the god figures of primitive cultures - that stood around them and even caused them to become creative as some sort of a planned intervention that they were carrying out. Such experiences have long been known to occur in the cultural history of mankind, and they are not dissimilar to the sorts of experiences that these star children relate. In earlier times these apparitions were often taken to be devil figures that induced members of satan sects to perform gruesome rituals. In modern times, Fosar & Bludorf point out, such experiences are for the most part taken to be ‘objective experiences’, which has led to the commonly recurring saga of encounters with extraterrestrials. They counsel that we should seriously doubt the objective reality of such encounters. On the other hand they concede that such encounters can not be dismissed as purely the product of fantasy. They have found in their hypnotherapy practice that people who report such encounters with extraterrestrials can often be suffering from a typical post-traumatic stress syndrome such as victims of rape or violent crime and war veterans.
According to contemporary psychological theory such traumas can not only be imaginary, but can actually have a real foundation that does not have to be identical with the related impressions of the patient. For instance in cases of sexual abuse it often happens that the actual experience is masked by the replacement memory in order to make it seem more bearable to the victim, and it becomes the task of the therapist to lead the affected person to the actual root of the problem.
Fosar & Bludorf take the view that people who relate having had encounters with extraterrestrials are actually undergoing a subjective trauma brought about by a personality exchange in the group consciousness structure. They list a series of indications that this is the case. Encounters with extraterrestrials mainly relate to archetypal images (such as strange forms with large dark eyes). There are often physical side effects such as electromagnetic anomalies of unknown origin that indicate hypercommunication in the magnetic flux tubes in the DNA. Affected people at this time can have access to scientifically checkable information that they themselves can not account for in terms of their own education and career path. This again indicates some sort of exchange of information by means of hypercommunication within the DNA. Many of the factors known about hypercommunication in the New Physics (for instance the so-called ‘tunnel effect’) seem to be present when these encounters occur, and there are also many indications that group consciousness at the genetic level is involved.
Fosar & Bludorf cite the case of another one of their patients. A 31 year old hairdresser who saw herself in a hypnotherapy session as a young child playing in the garden. Suddenly she saw a form with her inner eye that she described as a fish. As it was highly unlikely that she should encounter a fish on her lawn like that, they asked her to better describe this figure she had seen. She answered in the voice of a six year old and with a somewhat aggrieved tone that she should be asked such a banal question: “Like fish normally look - silver grey, large head, large eyes, long thin arms and legs.” In other words she was seeing one of these archetypal images that the star children are also seeing, but which in their case are seriously taken to be extraterrestrials.
Another one of Fosar & Bludorf’s patients, a 46 year old female real estate sales person, saw some sort of a mythological creature, and she could not herself differentiate whether it was a cat or a snake. However she also described the features common to so many of these cases. The creature had large dark starring eyes that seemed to have almost an hypnotic influence on her. These eyes are the real key to the archetypal significance of these encounters. In so many of the cases where people claim to see small grey extraterrestrials, they invariably describe the hypnotic effect of their eyes. Here again Tracey Taylor describes them as being enormous almond shaped eyes. Another one of Fosar & Bludorf’s patients, a female bank clerk, described these eyes as consciousness altering. She felt that the eyes of the creature were so deep, she could actually fall into them. When these eyes were fixed upon her she had the experience of information coming into her consciousness as if it was being called up or retrieved from within her.
It can be seen that Fosar & Bludorf take the view that there are no extraterrestrials in objective reality. All these reports by the star children of having been visited by creatures from outer space can be explained on the basis of a group consciousness brought about by hypercommunication within the DNA. The similarities of the features of these so-called aliens with the descriptions of other creatures given by their patients under hypnosis, creatures that are still earth bound, indicate that all these forms are in fact on an archetypal nature that exist in the collective unconscious of us all. They merely surface in the consciousness of some people as a result of enhanced hypercommunication that can be triggered or exaggerated as a result of physical or emotional trauma, or indeed in some cases can occur quite naturally as a result of a heightened connection to the group consciousness - the star children are just more psychically sensitive or aware.
